Snails 15/33 & 16/33

Snails 15 and 16 out of 33.
Acrylic paint on polymer clay + Natural yellow Cuban snail shell + Natural land snail shell
I thought you may like to see some "In progress" photos.
I always outline with a pencil and then start painting with acrylics.
~
* The yellow shell was a gift from my brother Ali, a souvenir from Cuba.
Thank you Ali! :o)

  21. Thanks a lot for your lovely comments!! :o)

Misstymountains: Thanks a lot dear! :o) I haven't used any finish on polymer clay. All you need to do is to soften the surface gently with your fingers to get rid of finger prints and then bake the clay. When you soften the surface it will get extra shiny, but when it comes out of the oven it will be perfectly matte.
