Mangosteen . Polymer clay miniature

Have you ever tried Mangosteen? It's an unbelievably delicious fruit native to Southeast Asia.
It can usually be found in Asian supermarkets. I got mine from T&T in Toronto.
In every country there are fruits that you can not find them in other places.
I miss many of the great fruits that we had in Iran but are impossible to find in Canada.
I don't even know the name of some of them in English!
For example "Azgil" in Persian. Does anybody know what it's called in English?

I've made some polymer clay miniature Mangosteen for the love of this cute and tasty fruit.
Hope you're having a great week!

  2. Wow! They are gorgeous and pretty identical :D Mangosteen is full of flavor and so yummy!
Azgil in english, is called Medlar. I found the translation in wikipedia. No fruit tastes like that, maybe blueberries are the closest one, but still way different. Azgil is really a unique fruit in terms of taste and texture...
