Sunrise in Toronto

Some days ago I opened my eyes in the morning and saw

that the apartment was filled with a very beautiful orange light.

So I took a photo of sunrise immediately.

This is the view of east of Toronto.

And here are our shelves.

Those gorgeous fruits are handmade by lovely Ginny!

Sakura earrings

This is a pair of earrings I made for a friend.

I called it Sakura (Japanese name for cherry trees)

Although cherry blossoms are pink and these are white,

but the whole thing has a cherry feeling in it!

Don't you think so? :)

The briolettes are sea opals or opalite.

These briolttes have a purple lavendar color

but they reflect a yellow light.

Apple blossoms magnet

A new magnet from my spring collection.

I made it from polymer clay,

a piece of branch and magnet.

Illustration Friday - Instinct

One of the strongest instincts in the world is a mother's instinct,

even if the mother is a mermaid.

I have painted this illustration with watercolor and pen.

Koala magnet

I told you before that I adore koalas!

Although I haven't seen one in person yet!

So I made a darling koala magnet with lovely pastel colors

holding an eucalyptus tree!

Love birds

Super cute love birds magnet!!!

This is another piece from my spring collection.

These little love birds are celebrating their love and the

beginning of spring! They have a special log that they meet

there all the time, and they call it love log!

Spring snail magnets

Exactly one month is left to spring equinox!

People have celebrated the coming of spring, including
the Mayas, the Persians the ancient Romans...
My little snails are also celebrating spring!

BeeVee and his secret admirer

This beaver was a custom order for one of my customers.

I've made the beaver, bird and flower with Polymer Clay.

The log is a piece of wood that I had found by the Caspian Sea

in Iran many years ago that belongs to my old collection.

I have a collection of dried leaves and pieces of wood
that I've brought with me all the way here from Iran...

I always loved to give personality to my mini sculptures,
and today I found out why! I read a great quote in Elsita's blog
that says:

“It's beauty that captures your attention;
personality which captures your heart.”

So here is my beaver's story:

BeeVee is very good in making amazing homes in the river;
whenever he goes to the woods he collects some branches
and logs. Little blue birdie always watches BeeVee and
admires him for his skills in making homes with branches.

Blue birdie can not even imagine making a nest in the river!
Oh it's so hard, it really needs an engineer! Not just a little birdie :(

BeeVee doesn't know that he has a sweet secret admirer!
There are always secret admirers for all of us, but we don't
know about them :)

Pink rose earrings

Better late than never! Last week I just listed these new

gorgeous pink rose earrings in my shop.

These are REALLY cute , and I think they would look
adorable with a pink, black or ivory outfit.

I sold one pair of them but I still have more!

Tricot chocolate truffle

It was a long time that I wanted to make something with

my golden cupcake cups, and finally today I made a

Chocolate truffle with tricot fabric, lace and polymer clay.

Spring blossom floral pendant

Spring is my favorite season right now...

Especially after a long winter that we have here in Toronto!
