Sunny day

Today Toronto is sunny and beautiful. If you lie on the bed and look at
the sky you can imagine that you are in a tropical island! Because the
sky is so bright an blue, but in reality outside is -10°C
I love to take the photos of my clay works when it's sunny because you
can create happy photos with sunlight, don't you think so?

JooJoo Land is in chaos when I'm taking photos!

Busy days

Thses days I've been so busy with Holiday orders that I couldn't stop
by to say hi.
This little mountain goat was a custom order that I worked
on a few weeks ago. I didn't know that mountain goats can be
found only in North America! You can read more about them here.
I hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend!

Jasper the green owl

The most talkative species of owls!!!
Unlike other types of owls Jasper doesn't sleep during the day time.
He only eats berries and worms because he is too small to hunt
mice and squirrels! He is only 2cm tall!
He loves to hang out with his friends and talk about all the latest
news in JooJoo Land, for example who is dating who and ...

I have added these little polymer clay owls to the shop
just a few days ago.
These days I am working on some new watercolor paintings,
they are much bigger than my usual paintings. Hopefully very
soon I'll blog about them.

My first papercuts

I did these paper papercuts yesterday for my brother's birthday.
I was inspired by lovely work of Elsita and I wanted to try it
myself. Now I have a lot of respect for people who do papercutting!

Penguins of JooJoo Land

The sweetest penguins of the world! They really enjoy it here
in JooJoo Land! Winters are not as cold as South Pole's winters
and summers are perfect for swimming and catching fish!
It's been a while since I had these tiny penguins and I
didn't have the chance to take their photos!
Finally they are here! I took their photos on a piece of ice that
I had in freezer!
You can find these little ones in my Etsy shop.

December - Snow

I am so excited that I finally finished making this calendar!
During this project I had many doubts. As you know I have
a chronic back pain that makes me slow in whatever I do.
So there are things that are really hard for me to do, one
of them is sitting! and making these cards needed a lot of
sitting and working with my computer, and I was afraid to
start it...but at the same time I couldn't get the dream out
of my head.
And now I have climbed that beanstalk that took me to
a lovely cloud! Actually that snail is me! Slow and steady ;)
Thank you dear friends for all the support that you gave me
along the way!
This calendar will be available in my Etsy shop hopefully
by tomorrow!

most of my time. Soon I'll share its photos with you!
I also wanted to thank you all dear friends for the kind
comments that you leave for me. I really appreciate them.

Illustration Friday: Welcome

"Welcome the rain"
Watercolor, pen and colored pencil on paper
The inspiration for this illustration was a
wonderful video on YouTube.
The video is about how we are in control of the way we
think about and respond to life's events, both in
our personal and professional lives.

Here is the print of my painting.
Soon it will be available in
my Etsy shop.

Ghost family

I've made these ghosts from Glow-in-the-dark polymer clay!
It's so much fun to put them on your bedside table
and looking at them in the dark while you are going to sleep!
Because of Canada Post's rigid 'dimension' restrictions
I moved all of my clay work to a new shop:
I guess now the combined shipping calculation is much
simpler than before!!!
Now you can find these spooky guys in

My little garden

I took these photos of my little garden last week.
Those 3 little cute cactuses are my birthday gifts
from my brother :)
And you can see that the far left cactus is still growing!
It is much bigger compared to some weeks ago.

Here is Miniature Jade bonsai.
I wish it grows like this one---> (Click this link to see)

I am currently working on a new watercolor painting.
It's called cactus garden. I'll show it to you in my
