Jiki and BonsiBonsi tree!

Jiki is one happy little birdie of JooJoo Land. He is a very
tiny bird and very light! He weighs 1gram and half of his
weight is because of his feathers.
There is a special type of tree in JooJoo Land that is
very small and is called BonsiBonsi and is Jiki's favorite tree,
because he feels so big and strong when he sits
next to that tree!

Polka and Molka

Polka and Molka go to bed at the same time.
Molka falls asleep in a second, but it takes a long time
for Polka to fall asleep...
She can do nothing but looking at Molka...
Are you like Molka or like Polka? :)

First in my new magnet collection.
Available in my shop.
Size: 2.2cm x 5.5cm

I used a similar owl magnet to decorate my dad's

birthday gift. I used another magnet in the back of the ribbon
and then stuck this magnet to it!

Glue-free, strong and easy to remove :)

Illustration Friday: Talisman

Watercolor, colored pencils and pen on green paper.

If you've ever been to Turkey, you must have seen many of
these blue eyes!
These are called "nazar" and are protection against the evil
eye. My bamboo queen is using one of those to rest in peace!
You can read about Nazar
here in Wikipedia.
I also have one little eye (Nazar) pendant!
I bought that in Iran when I was a teenager.
In Iran we use some special glazed pottery bead as talisman.
You can see it in the photo
(The big blue bead, hanging from that wall art)
This wall art is a gift from my lovely sister :)
Thank you Azadeh! I love it!

Illustration Friday: Poise

Have you ever had a curious cat that would gaze at you
when you try to concentrate? When we were kids we had a cat
and he really liked to interrupt us whenever he felt that he
was being ignored!

I've done this illustration with pen and watercolor on paper.
The poise is from a pretty photo in Shutterstock.
