Naked shoulders

Another hand-painted pendant. I called it "Naked shoulders"

I've painted the woman with gouache colors on

pottery clay and glazed the illustration only.

The rest has remained a gorgeous matt.

It has inserted in polymer clay and got baked.

I also wanted to share this song with you.
It made my day!

Happy Mother's Day!

It's Mother's Day and BunBun has looked everywhere

in JooJoo Land to find the best gift for her mom.

In the end she found a very sweet and fresh carrot

and she couldn't wait to give it to her mom.

.

It was around 8 PM, a beautiful night in JooJoo Land.

BunBun's mom was dancing by the beach.

She is a very good dancer and whenever BunBun sees

her mom dancing she becomes speechless! She adores her

mom and wants to be like her when she grows up.

.

Snails 5/33 and 6/33

My inspiration for these snails was blue and white

porceleins of China.

They were using cobalt oxide for making their blue pigments.

You can read about it here.

These snails are made of polymer clay and real shells.

and I have painted the tattoos with acrylic colors.

I have painted a tree branch white and attached my

polymer clay blossoms to it.

The inspiration for this organized collection

is from a wonderful Flickr group by Camilla Engman.

Illustration Friday: Hierarchy . Colorful cactuses

Hierarchy of colors in a cactus.
I painted this illustration with watercolor on paper.
I was inspired by this beautiful photo of cactuses in Arizona

by Sparklerama.

Wish I could grow such a big cactus at home :)
My grandma had a huge cactus, 1.2 meters and she
had grown it herself, but I think it took something
around 30 years for her cactus to grow that big.

This is the sketch of my illustration.
