Grey walls

We painted our bedroom walls grey a few weeks ago.

I like the contrast it makes with the white/bright objects.
This weekend my mom got these little ceramics for me
from China Town!
I want to use them for jewelry photos.
There are 6 more of them :)

I also wanted to thank you for the sweet comments you left
for my "Mommy and 7 chicks" illustration!

Illustration Friday - Propagate

This week for Illustration Friday I did a pen illustration and colored it digitally

in PhotoShop. It's so much fun playing around in PhotoShop, a software

with endless possibilities.

Print of this illustration came out as I expected...I'm in love with it!

It will be added to the shop tomorrow.

One lazy afternoon

A new painting from my cactus series.
Watercolor and pen on 8.5"x11" paper.

Idea of this illustration came to my mind last year.
I made a quick sketch on the closest piece of paper which was
a t-shirt tag and kept it in my "ideas folder" so I don't forget it!

I love the color combination of pink and grey. When I was a kid
I had a pink and grey sweater , and it was my favorite... My velvety beads on the rack and ready to get baked.

Lemon tree

My terrarium now has some lemon trees with some

tiny leaves and lemons on the ground.
I'm planning to make more fruit trees.

Little chickies

These little chickies hatched out from their eggshells a few days ago,

but they still don't want to let go to their eggshells...
