Tropical bird

Hi friends! Finally I'm back after being so quiet.
This was the painting that I had in mind for the topic "Paisley".
I've done this illustration with watercolors and pen on paper.

This is the work in progress.
I wish you a lovely week ♥

  6. Wow! Magnetic colors! I love it's pale brown background, seems like it's an ancient tablet made of soil. Those two colored flowers are so beautiful... the bird, and those leaves! Bravo sister

  15. I simply adore this! :)
You probably know better than me that resembling a twisted teardrop, the kidney-shaped paisley is Iranian and Indian in origin, but its western name derives from the town of Paisley, in central Scotland... where I am currently living (my hubby and I moved here in 2008). :)
