My dad is a perfectionist when it comes to creating handmade pieces.

He used to make musical instrument like Tar and Setar before.

He is a real master. I am so proud of him.

new and exciting projects that need lots of learning and focus. Eventually I will share

Gouache bird

A little gouache painting. I find it hard to scan gouache.

The surface is much rougher than watercolor and in scan it creates an unwanted pattern.

 This is a photo taken using my iPhone. 

Do you have a favorite method to scan gouache?

Purple potatoes

Have you ever seen purple potatoes?

 This is the first time I see potatoes that actually have purple flesh, not just the skin.

 My sister got them from farmers market.

 They taste like regular potatoes, but are very high in anti oxidants!
