It wasn't easy to scan it, because it's much bigger than my
scanner's screen. So I scanned it in 3 steps and then merged
all the three pieces together in Photoshop.

It has a lot of details that can't be seen in the photos, but here you
can see more details.
I've printed the painting on 13x19" and 8.5x11" papers and both
are available in my shop now.
I hope you're having a great weekend! Here Monday is a public
holiday (Victoria Day). So we are enjoying a long weekend :)
See you soon dear friends!
OMG this one is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI defiantly can see it on my bad-room's wall :-)
Perfect work!
This design is truly amazing Afsaneh, I love how you mixed the leaves, flowers, fruits and creatures in it - and the generous shape of the heart! beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThis came out so lovely!!! I love your work! :)
ReplyDeleteThis. Is. Heartbreakingly. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!
I'm in love.
Also, you are so lucky your scanner can scan your paintings. Mine (HP ScanJet of some sort) misses all the details of the "washes" of colors and includes all of the texture of the paper. Do you want on completely smooth watercolor paper or just have a scanner that's good at omitting the rough texture of the paper when you scan?
Afi, looking at your new painting made me so happy! It's full of life and love!So many beautiful detailed things gathered in a heart shaped row , it's so pleasent for the eyes to follow it! Sister , thanks 4 everything :X

ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. I love it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I so want one for my bedroom. Can you come to North Carolina and rub some of that talent of yours on me?!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously beautiful....you have such a defined style, which is the mark of a wonderful artist (and business-minded artist)!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot dear friends! You are so wonderful and encouraging! Hugs!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteChel: Thanks a lot dear Chel! xo :) Yes, I use a very smooth paper (Fabriano, Extra White, Hot Pressed). My scanner also scans the texture of the paper, but I use photoshop(Image-->Adjustments-->Levels) to get rid of that.
what a sweet print!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for answering my questions :) For my birthday my husband and parents got me an Epson R1900 printer (!!!) so that I could print out some of my paintings. I don't even know where to begin since I was having such a hard time getting rid of the texture of the watercolor paper when scanning. Thank you so much for your advice on that. I'll have to be brave and try painting on the hot-press paper my husband surprised me with for our anniversary. It's so nice and crisp and smooth that I couldn't dare "messing it up" by painting on it but now I have a reason!
ReplyDeletethis is SO beautiful! May I share it on my blog, with credit of course?
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Lisa! Yes, it'd be ok if you link to me. :) xo
