A while ago I received an e-mail in Etsy from a Canadian photographer:"Hi - came across your shop. LOVE your illustrations.
I especially love the mermaid mother and child
(it reminds me of myself and my daughter, Lilah)."
I looked at her photo and couldn't stop smiling! My God,
they both look like my illustration characters a LOT!

She has a very lovely online portfolio and this is her sweet daughter.

She asked me to do an illustration for her future website/Blog.
I did this illustration with pen on paper and colored it digitally
in Photoshop.

What a beautiful blog you have Afi and what enviable talent! Aww - love it=) Thank you. I don't know why I didn't see this post, either. Once the busy season is over I'll send some photos of the new packaging - and I FINALLY have a new website in the works. Everyone comments on how cute your illustration is - I'm using it on my CDs, photo packaging, wrapping, bags, etc....
