A while ago I received an e-mail in Etsy from a Canadian photographer:"Hi - came across your shop. LOVE your illustrations.
I especially love the mermaid mother and child
(it reminds me of myself and my daughter, Lilah)."
I looked at her photo and couldn't stop smiling! My God,
they both look like my illustration characters a LOT!

She asked me to do an illustration for her future website/Blog.
I did this illustration with pen on paper and colored it digitally
in Photoshop.

What a beautiful blog you have Afi and what enviable talent! I can't wait to show it to my 14 year old daughter who is a budding illustrator - I know she will fall in love with your work and find great inspiration in your blog (she has bad flu at the moment so I'll wait until she is feeling better).

Once the busy season is over I'll send some photos of the new packaging - and I FINALLY have a new website in the works. Everyone comments on how cute your illustration is - I'm using it on my CDs, photo packaging, wrapping, bags, etc....
