Oh boy, I'm late for Illustration Friday again! But better late than never!
The inspiration for this painting was this wonderful quote:
"Happiness is a journey, not a destination"
~ Ben Sweetland
so true, don't you think so?

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely drawing. It tells a story but we don't know which one. Is the girl saying farewell to her family-member(s) on that boat? Does her father work at the lighthouse? Is she just enjoying the scene with her yummy ice cream? Are her brothers flying the kite's? Only the little kitten knows it all and tries to tell us the hidden story by looking straight at us.
