NSS 2018 Booth

This is how my booth looked like at this year's National Stationery Show. 

I hand painted the walls here in Toronto and we drove them to NYC like last year.

NSS Mailer

I was so busy last week that I didn't have a chance to show you my envelope mailers for the National Stationery Show. The favorite part was creating my own custom stamps which was printed by Canada Post (Picture Postage).

I did these tiny illustrations for my National Stationery Show mailer. 

Basically it's an invitation that exhibitors send to retailers. 

Mine is all beach themed this year!

Here is my 7 Seen, a tabletop arrangement for Nowruz. 

It's an ancient tradition and each family makes one of these
before the New Year or Spring Equinox.

Packaging Details

I love packaging! In fact I love packaging design as much as I love to design the actual product!  

I have a box full of bits and pieces of pretty packaging that I've collected over the years, from 

candy wraps to stationery belly bands, perfume boxes, socks tags, ...you name it! :D

Illustrated Map of North America, my NSS mailer

A crop of my mailer for National Stationery Show.

It is done by gouache and is inspired by antique maps.

I tried to incorporate many of the characters and elements that were in my greeting cards and notepads, like the mermaid and sparkler, mangoes, florals,...and of course my signature clouds!
