French Macarons

Hello friends! Hope everything is going well with you :)
The last few days I've been making French Macarons.
I ruined a few batches and finally I found a wonderful and very detailed recipe
by Stella of BraveTart. And now I'm oh so happy! La la la!!!
Thanks a lot Stella! xo
These babies are really delicious and look cute too!
I'm not really a kind of girl who bakes but I really wanted to make these, because
they look and taste great!
OK, no more of foodie talk! I'll be back with some exciting art related posts ;)

  4. These macarons look better than those at Laduree!
The surface looks so perfect, are the shells really soft and chewy on the inside with a thin crust on the outside?

  6. Thanks a lot for your comments dear friends!

Michele: If you were here I would have given all of them to you, not just one! Hugs! xo

Savorique: Thanks a lot! Yes, they actually have a very thin crust on the outside and are soft and chewy inside...I stacked two baking sheets and used quarry tiles in my oven since I have a very crazy oven with fluctuating temperature. Other than that I just did exactly like Stella's recipe.
