My professionally framed alphabet poster. 
The frame was my Birthday gift that my lovely mom got me.
I love it!

I guess this year will this be one of Toronto's coldest winters.

We had freezing rain, intense storms, and very low temperatures.

I miss spring!

I re-potted my little hairy cactus and a branch of succulent. 

They seem to be happy!

I learnt how to tie a perfect bow and I'm so excited about it!

Winter Wonderland . freezing rain in Toronto

A few days before Christmas, freezing rain turned the city into a winter wonderland.

It was actually the first time I was seeing freezing rain.

Everywhere was covered in ice and looked magical.

Despite its breath taking beauty, it caused serious electricity shortage

and more than half of the city didn't have electricity for many days! up to 7 days!

Many trees broke because of  heavy ice than was weighing on the branches...

Well it's all in the past now :o) Hope you enjoy these photos!

The last two photos are taken by my dad. He is a wonderful photographer.

Sometimes I receive e-mails from my sweet customers with photos of how my framed prints look on their walls. And it totally makes my day!

Here are photos of a gorgeous woodland themed nursery designed by Kelsey in US.

She says: "Everything started with some paintings I had in my nursery when I was little.

They were painted by my aunt on small pieces of wood.

We didn't know if we were having a boy or girl so the woodland nursery was a neutral choice.

We had a boy! He is our first. I had a lot of fun putting some finishing touches on

the nursery once he arrived - like the white antlers!"

Isn’t this nursery gorgeous?! Full of cute details! And her aunt’s work is adorable! My Fox must be really happy living among all those beauties!

R is for Raccoon . Woodland animals

A few weeks ago we were driving back home at night and we saw a raccoon mother crossing the street with her two babies. My husband hit the brake immediately and we waited for them to cross. As we wanted to move on, all of a sudden two more babies jumped in the street following their mother. Thank God that we always drive carefully. That scene was unbearably cute! I couldn't stop saying "omg! omg! This is too cute!!!"

That raccoon family was my inspiration for this painting :o)

Last week I saw a baby squirrel in the park.

It was all black and so cute and small.

At that time I knew I had to a paint a squirrel!

A few weeks ago wind broke my hairy cactus.

I re-potted the broken piece temporarily in a small container.

Now I need to find a bigger pot for it.

End of summer

Some smooth pebbles, beach glass and driftwood from a visit to the Lake Ontario.

Summer seemed very short this year.
