Orchid blooms

My orchid plant finally bloomed after a very long time! It's a great feeling! 

At first I thought it's growing another root, but it turned out to be a flower spike!

 This orchid was a lovely gift from a dear friend. 

Now these flowers remind me of her :o)

My new key chain

I made myself a key chain using a kit from Kiriki Press.

The only change that I made to the original kit was a little ribbon that I added on top for hanging. 

I love embroidery but I hadn't done it since I was in high school! Now I feel refreshed.

Beautiful sunrise

 In many language they call this animal lazy (in English Sloth) 

But I think hanging from a branch is actually a real workout!

 I can't even hang like that for 2 minutes!! Haha!

The frame was my Birthday gift that my lovely mom got me.
I love it!

I guess this year will this be one of Toronto's coldest winters.

We had freezing rain, intense storms, and very low temperatures.

I miss spring!

I re-potted my little hairy cactus and a branch of succulent. 

They seem to be happy!

I learnt how to tie a perfect bow and I'm so excited about it!

Winter Wonderland . freezing rain in Toronto

A few days before Christmas, freezing rain turned the city into a winter wonderland.

It was actually the first time I was seeing freezing rain.

Everywhere was covered in ice and looked magical.

Despite its breath taking beauty, it caused serious electricity shortage

and more than half of the city didn't have electricity for many days! up to 7 days!

Many trees broke because of  heavy ice than was weighing on the branches...

Well it's all in the past now :o) Hope you enjoy these photos!

Sometimes I receive e-mails from my sweet customers with photos of how my framed prints look on their walls. And it totally makes my day!

Here are photos of a gorgeous woodland themed nursery designed by Kelsey in US.

She says: "Everything started with some paintings I had in my nursery when I was little.

They were painted by my aunt on small pieces of wood.

We didn't know if we were having a boy or girl so the woodland nursery was a neutral choice.

We had a boy! He is our first. I had a lot of fun putting some finishing touches on

the nursery once he arrived - like the white antlers!"

Isn’t this nursery gorgeous?! Full of cute details! And her aunt’s work is adorable! My Fox must be really happy living among all those beauties!
